Celebrating 31 Years with GTech Bellmor

"The variety of different and challenging parts and projects is what I enjoy most — and that same variety continues to keep me motivated after so many years."

Brian Roberts joined GTech Bellmor in September 1995 and has built an impressive 31-year career with the company. Now working as a Programmer, Brian first came to know GTech Bellmor while making parts for the business in his previous role at Track Industries. After speaking with Kevin Bell, he applied for a position and began what would become a long and valued journey with the company.

Brian started as a CNC Programmer and Operator, and programming has remained at the heart of his role throughout his time at GTech Bellmor. Over the years, his work has expanded into a wide range of areas, including design, purchasing and scheduling, reflecting both his experience and his willingness to support the business wherever needed.

During his time with the company, Brian has seen GTech Bellmor grow significantly, from operating with just one CNC machine to becoming a global company with 12 CNC machines in New Zealand alone. It is a transformation that highlights not only the company's progress, but also the contribution of long-serving team members who have helped shape that journey.

Looking back, Brian is proud to have been involved in many projects over the years, including designing the range of centrifuges, meat grinders and Flomor pumps. These achievements stand out as important examples of the variety and technical challenge that have defined his career at GTech Bellmor.

One of Brian's most memorable experiences with the company was a break-up day plane trip to the West Coast. It is one of many moments that reflect the people and experiences that have made his time at GTech Bellmor meaningful.

What Brian enjoys most about his work is the variety of different and challenging parts and projects. That same variety continues to keep him motivated after so many years. When asked what makes GTech Bellmor a good place to work, Brian points to the interesting range of projects and the good people he works alongside.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys travelling, camping, working on cars and tackling DIY projects at home. He is happily married and has two children.

Congratulations to Brian on 31 years of service, and thank you for your continued commitment, knowledge and contribution to GTech Bellmor.
