Celebrating 30 Years with GTech Bellmor

Brian Youngman has been part of GTech Bellmor since February 1996, building an impressive 30-year career in maintenance and tooling. He first joined the company through someone already working at GTech Bellmor, beginning his journey in welding before developing his skills in manual machining and later progressing into CNC machining. Over the years, Brian has seen GTech Bellmor transform significantly, moving from largely manual production methods to a far more automated operation supported by CNC technology and modern machinery.
Among the achievements he is most proud of, Brian highlights proving out jobs and seeing them through to completion, as well as helping to establish the tool management area. For him, some of the most memorable moments have come from watching the business grow, with new buildings, new machines and new people becoming part of the company's story. He also looks back fondly on the many work events over the years, describing some of them as unforgettable.
What Brian enjoys most is sharing his knowledge with others, particularly when it comes to machines and parts. Mentoring colleagues continues to give his work meaning and motivation after three decades with the company. Outside work, Brian enjoys spending time in the garage tinkering with classic cars and motorbikes, building things, and socialising with friends. With a great partner, two children, a stepson and a grandson, family is also an important part of his life.
When asked what makes GTech Bellmor a good place to work, Brian points to the people and the great products the company makes — a simple reflection of the pride and connection that have defined his 30 years with the business.
