Celebrating 31 Years with GTech Bellmor

Clifford Jacobs was first introduced to GTech Bellmor through his brother, Todd Jacobs, who was working in Australia at the time. What began as occasional visits to drop items off for Kevin on Todd's behalf ultimately opened the door for Clifford to join the GTech Bellmor team himself.

Beginning in stripping, cleaning, reporting, and assembling decanters, Clifford built his expertise through years of hands-on experience. Today, he is known for his strong understanding of the service process and his commitment to preparing equipment to the highest possible standard before it leaves the workshop.

During his time with GTech Bellmor, Clifford has witnessed significant improvements that have made the work safer, more efficient, and more precise, from upgraded workshop equipment to enhanced reporting sheets, measuring tools, and specialist service equipment.

Among the achievements he is most proud of is seeing a machine properly prepared and ready to perform. He especially recalls work on the 2080 decanter, including the hopper, and the satisfaction of receiving positive feedback on the result.

One memorable moment from Clifford's career involved a disk stack coming apart while running at full speed, requiring the team to wait safely for it to stop. It stands as a reminder of the practical experience, patience, and teamwork that workshop life can require.

Although GTech Bellmor has evolved over the years, particularly with increased paperwork, inductions, and testing requirements, Clifford's approach has remained grounded and practical: identify what needs fixing, complete the work properly, and take pride in the result.

Outside of work, Clifford enjoys classic cars, car shows, rugby, travelling, and spending time with family. His loyalty, practical mindset, and down-to-earth nature have made him a valued member of GTech Bellmor for more than three decades.
